Alison Lingley

Animal Cartoonist

As an animal cartoonist, Alison served her youthful apprenticeship pushing loaded wheelbarrows through various stables, falling off a succession of ponies, and looking after dogs of all types and sizes at more than a few boarding kennels.

Her ‘spare’ time was used for drawing animals for friends and family – and just for fun! Before long, the drawing hobby took over from the day job, and Alison is now a professional cartoonist with commissioned work worldwide.

She also produces original art for many dog breed and rescue organisations – every year, she is commissioned to design Christmas cards for several major dog charities.
